Economic Upliftment

Jobs are very scarce and so many of the people we help have very little schooling and limited skills. We can provide food and clothing parcels but once the food is eaten and the clothes are worn out they are no better off than they were.

Many of the ladies can make some really good vetkoek and roosterbrood. With very generous donations from the public, we are able to put together Business Starter Packs. We identify ladies with a desire to work hard, provide for their families and can cook well. We train and mentor them to sell for profit on a daily basis to earn an income. The starter pack is given once and from the earnings they can buy more ingredients at their local shop and cook and sell again.
